Employee Assistance Programme

Gemserv is committed to caring for the health, safety and welfare of all employees. An Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) provides a 24-hour a day, 365 days a year, free phone helpline and online support which provides staff with access to telephone counselling, practical information and guidance for both personal and work-related issues.

Employee Wellbeing

As part of our commitment to creating a healthy workplace culture and promoting a progressive approach to mental health, we have fully trained Mental Health First Aiders and regularly run mental health awareness workshops. We have also introduced instructor-led Rejuvenation Morning Yoga Sessions, free to all employees to help combat stress, tiredness and generally improve physical fitness. By taking the same approach to mental health as to physical health we believe we will be better placed to continue improving the wellbeing of all our staff.

Performance Awards

To create an environment in which exceptional performance and contribution are recognised and rewarded we operate two schemes.

  • Employee Rewards Scheme – Recognising outstanding performance each quarter. Employees are invited to nominate colleagues for exceptional performance and winners are rewarded with a £1,000 bonus.
  • Line Manager’s ‘Thank You’ Scheme –  Enabling Line Manager’s to recognise and reward exceptional performance by a team member.
  • Profit Related Bonus Scheme  – The Company’s bonus scheme focuses on rewarding performance based on the contribution all staff members can make towards the achievement of the Company’s Strategic Objectives and their personal targets.  All staff members eligible for the scheme will have a bonus percentage eligibility which varies by grade and outlines the amount of bonus that could be earned (as a percentage of base salary) subject to company profit performance, company strategic measures and personal performance.
